We want you to love what you ordered. Here's how returns, exchanges and refunds work at SwiftCity.

Overview

This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on swiftcity.in and the SwiftCity mobile app, operated by Nextique SwiftCity Private Limited. It explains which products are eligible for return, how to initiate one, and how refunds are processed.

Return Eligibility Window

Most products can be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags, labels and accessories intact.

  • The 7-day window starts from the date the order is marked "Delivered".
  • Some categories may carry a shorter or extended window, shown on the individual product page.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, or customisation reasons, the following categories cannot be returned unless received damaged or defective:

  • Innerwear, cosmetics, and personal care products.
  • Perishable goods, groceries, and fresh produce.
  • Customised or made-to-order products.
  • Gift cards and digital vouchers.

How to Request a Return

Step 1

Raise a return request

Go to My Orders, select the item and choose "Return" within 7 days of delivery.

Step 2

Schedule pickup or self-ship

Our courier partner picks up the item, or we share a self-ship address for select locations.

Step 3

Quality check

Once received, the item is inspected to confirm it meets return eligibility conditions.

Step 4

Refund processed

On approval, your refund is issued to the original payment method or as SwiftCity Wallet credit.

Refund Method & Timeline

Once your return passes quality check, refunds are issued as follows:

  • Prepaid orders: refunded to the original payment method within 5-7 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery orders: refunded via bank transfer or SwiftCity Wallet credit within 5-7 business days.
  • SwiftCity Wallet credit is available instantly and can be used on your next order.

Exchanges

For a different size or colour of the same product, choose "Exchange" instead of "Return" from My Orders, subject to availability. If the requested variant is unavailable, we will process a refund instead.

Damaged, Wrong or Defective Items

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please report it within 48 hours of delivery along with photos or a short video. We will arrange a free pickup and, based on your preference, a replacement or a full refund, with no return shipping charges.

Cancellations Before Shipping

Orders can be cancelled free of charge any time before they are packed for shipment. Once an order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must instead be returned after delivery under this policy.
